Elderly Care by Design 2010: Designing Environments for Independent Living

Elderly Care by Design 2010 is a new international symposium and workshop examining how investment in the design of environments for older people, from nursing and care homes, hospitals, domestic and residential environments to facilities for the end of life, can support independent living, health and wellbeing.

Organised by the International Academy for Design & Health in association with World Health Design, the event will  feature the UK's Acting National Clinical Director for Older People, Dr Finbarr Martin who will lead an internationally renowned panel of speakers on 18 February at London South Bank University.
